Purposes of processing

IFAM will process personal data, in its capacity as data controller, for the purpose of managing user profiles in the application. Specifically, your data will be collected for:
o Register you so that you can link connected devices through the application.
o Allow users access to the settings panel associated with each connected device.
o Enable the management, location and, in general, the settings of the devices connected to the application through the user’s mobile device.
o Share the application with your contacts.
o Give permissions through the association of a user profile to a certain role (administrator/regular member).

Personal data collected and permissions requested

In order to create your user profile in the application and to ensure the application’s basic performance, we will collect the following (mandatory) data:
-E-mail address.
-Password.
-Registration date in the application.

Once you have created your user profile in the application, you may optionally complete it with additional information that we will only process if you provide it to us:
-First name and surname or alias.
-Profile picture.
-Time zone.

In addition, we will request the following permissions for the following purposes:
-Depending on the device where the Application is installed and the factory default of the device, storage permissions will be requested in order to store the content obtained via the connected devices (photos/videos) that have previously been saved locally in the Application in the gallery of the mobile device.
-Location, to be able to determine the location of the created home or connected devices through the app.
-If applicable, microphone, for the optimal performance of certain devices connected to the app.
-Access to nearby devices, to find nearby Bluetooth devices and perform network and connection set-up functions.

You can revoke permissions at any time from your mobile phone settings.

The application may process data in the background to ensure connection to devices, display alerts and ensure Bluetooth functionality.

Legitimation of the processing

The data will be processed as necessary for the performance of the legal relationship established in accordance with Article 6.1.b) of the General Data Protection Regulation.

Data recipients

Your data will be disclosed to public or private organisations where this is necessary for the fulfilment of legally established obligations.

Personal data may also be processed by the data processors providing the information technology services supporting the application through which the devices are connected, on behalf of IFAM and in accordance with its instructions.

International transfers

There will be no international transfers of your personal data.

Data retention

We will keep your personal data until you, as a user, request the cancellation of your profile and during the periods of any possible liabilities that may arise from the data processing.

Rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, deletion and portability of your data, of limitation and opposition to processing, as well as the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on the automated processing of your data or to revoke your consent when appropriate, by sending an e-mail to rgpd@ifam.es or to the postal address Calle Notario Etxagibel, nº 4 20500 de Arrasate-Mondragón (Guipúzcoa). If you consider that the exercise of your rights has not been satisfied, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

Security measures

We will treat your data confidentially and subject to appropriate technical and organisational security measures to prevent its alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access.
